Englewood is a city Montgomery County, Ohio, and a northern suburb of Dayton. The population is around 14,000 with about 6,000 families. The median age of the population in Englewood is 42 years old. Englewood was founded in 1841, the early settlers made their living basically from agriculture. They shipped grain and bacon down the Stillwater River on flat bottom boats to Dayton and as far south as New Orleans.
