I completed a service call on an air conditioner, I found broken thermostat wire and then I realized there was a leak at the 3/8” liquid line. Upon correcting issues all else is operating properly.
I completed a service call. I checked and adjusted charge, added 2lb 8oz refrigerant, and tightened piston. AC is operating properly at this time.
I completed a diagnostic service call on a Lennox air conditioner. I found the unit to be in extremely bad condition. I found the coil to be disintegrating as well as the capacitor being very weak. I went over options to replace the unit. The customer is to go through with a new install.
Performed a diagnostic service call for a AC unit. Fan fan contacting shroud, bent off of blade path. 8lb capacity r22, txv. Low charge 1-3 lb estimate. In danger of freezing up of charge is not added. Recommend replacement of entire system due to age and energy efficiency.
I completed a diagnostic service call on a Five Star air conditioner. I determined that the bolt in the thermostatic expansion valve is leaking causing the system to be low on charge. I tighten the bolt, recharged the system, and cycled it. Everything operating as intended upon departure.
Performed a diagnostic service call for a 7 year old AC unit. The HVAC system is in the basement and the lines run directly to the outdoor unit out the back wall of the house and all of the ducting is in the floor so there is no part of the HVAC system that is in the attic or runs through the attic.
Upon arrival I completed a HVAC Job Continuation. The system is operational upon departure.
I performed a diagnostic service call for a 2011 propane furnace. After arrival customer advised that furnace had stopped working. Customer had found that condensate pump had stopped working which was causing the safety on pump o shut down furnace. Customer had cleared all lines and attempted to repair but there were some damaged internal components. After discussing with customer replaced pump and ran new drain line. Also assessed furnace and found flame sensor reading low so pulled and cleaned. After installing pump primed and confirmed operation. Cycled furnace and allowed to run approximately 15 minutes with no issues. Furnace operational upon departure.
