After removing the Carrier gas furnace and air conditioner, I installed a Carrier 80% 110,000 BTU Gas Furnace and a Carrier 13 SEER 4 Ton Air Conditioner. Cycled and monitored the system. Operating normally at this time. Included with the installation is a free 1 year service maintenance agreement.
Commercial Roof System. Job had to be rescheduled due to inclement weather conditions and safety of personnel.
I completed a diagnostic on a Ruud gas furnace. Determined that the flame sensor was not installed correctly. I cleaned and installed flame sensor correctly. I also determined that the spark ignitor spliced and needs to be replaced. Parts to be ordered. Cycled and monitored the system. Operating normally at this time.
I completed diagnostic on a Duquesne furnace. Determined that the unit was shutting down a pressure switch code. Determined that the flue was disconnected at the ceiling. Reconnected the flue. Cycled unit. Monitored operation. Unit shut down again on a pressure switch code. Checked the condition of the flue in the attic and on the roof. On the roof found that the Vin cap venting was partially obstructed which was too far down to adjust. Removed vacuum hose from the inducer motor and cleared vacuum nipples and reattched. Recommended that the client have the blower motor cleaned. Client declined to have blower motor cleaned. System operating normally at this time.
