With a population of less than 500 people, North Hampton is a village located in Clark County as part of the Springfield, Ohio Metropolitan Area. It was laid out as early as 1829 and incorporated officially in 1925. Because Ohio State Route 41 runs through the village, the town has a large amount of daily traffic estimated to be as high as 5,040 cars.
