DISCOVERING ENON, OH
Enon is a quaint, village community, founded in 1850 and is named after the river ‘Aenon’ in Isreal, where the story of John the Baptist baptizing people takes place. The village was located on an Indian trail that ran between the Indian Villages of Old Piqua and Old Chillicothe. Enon is located just 15 minutes south of Springfield and is home to approximately 2,300 residents. The median age of an Enon resident is 48 years old.
Enon is the headquarters of the gasoline chain, Speedway.
