I completed a diagnostic on an A/C that keeps freezing. I inspected the unit and found it low on charge. I added 2 lb of refrigerant. I then checked for leaks. I sprayed joints with micro leak detector and found no bubbles or oil staining. I cycled and monitored the system. Operating normally at this time.

I completed the spring tune up on an air conditioner. I visually inspected the furnace. Checked voltage and amps. I inspected the evaporator coil. I checked the temperature difference across the coil. Checked refrigerant charge, voltages and amps. I found a weakened contactor which the customer did not wish to replace, however I replaced the bad capacitor. I rinsed the condenser coils with water. Cycled and monitored the system. Operating at this time.

Upon arrival to complete a free in-home estimate the customer was not home, leading this appointment to being cancelled. I left a "Sorry we missed you." sticker on the door.

Performed a diagnostic service call for a 20 year old AC unit. t customer is getting water leaking around the furnace because the condensate pump is no longer kicking on. It is getting 120 V but it’s just not running anymore. This is a low profile style condensate pump and I don’t have one on my van so we will have to get one and return to replace.
